Intermountain Health is seeking hospitalists to join an inpatient Internal Medicine team rotating at hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley. You will provide direct inpatient care with support from a nurse coordinator and contribute to teaching residents and medical students.

We offer a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance, and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on quality goals and performance. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as a 501c3 employer.

Qualificações

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME US Residency Training Program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Utah medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Current BLS Certification before first day of employment.
• Experience with hospitalist roles or Family Medicine training considered case-by-case.

This position is allocated for an ABIM certified/eligible physician trained in internal medicine and interested in hospital medicine.

About this role:

We are searching for collaborative hospitalists to join an inpatient team rotating at hospitals throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

• This position includes a $15,000 s tarting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship.

• This is a unique opportunity to provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator and participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students.

• As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, a quaternary care academic hospital. You will also practice at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, which are 2 of the valley's community hospitals.

• While this is classified as a day shift opportunity, a balance of swing and night shifts will also be necessary though the majority of nights will be staffed by Nocturnists.

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Successful completion of an ACGME Accredited US Residency Training Program

• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Experienced Hospitalists who are Family Medicine trained will be considered on a case by case basis

• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
