CHI Health in Grand Island, Nebraska, seeks a Hospitalist to join a dynamic healthcare team. You will diagnose and treat in a 16-bed open ICU, with day shifts, admissions and a built-in referral base of 250+ PCPs, and collaboration with a broad multidisciplinary group.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Hospitalist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Grand Island, specializing in diagnosing and treating paitients making a significant impact on their lives and families.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Hospitalist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Day Shift
• Average Census of 15-16 patients per physician
• Admissions 6-8 (dispersed between 4-5 physicians on days)
• Built-in Referral Base of 250+ Primary Care Providers
• 16 Bed Open ICU
• Procedures are optional

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families
