Qualifications

• Associates degree in Allied Health Field required.
• 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience within a Therapy Department required.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology in the state.</br>
• Current BLS certification required.

Exalt Health, an acute rehabilitation hospital, provides an intensive rehabilitation program, and admitted patients must be able to tolerate three hours of intense rehabilitation services per day. Focused on caring for patients with complex rehabil-itative needs such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, head trauma, medically debilitation conditions, neurological disorders, cardio-pulmonary amputations, orthopedic injuries, and multiple major traumas.

Position Summary

As the Therapy Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing our team of dedicated therapists. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the therapy department, promoting exceptional patient care, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for your team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to therapy teams (PT, OT, SLP).

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Licenses or Certifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice professional Physical Therapy (Assistant) or Occupational Therapy (Assistant)or Speech-Language Pathology in the state where currently practicing.
• Current BLS required via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).

Education, Training, and Experience

• Associatesdegree in Allied Health Field required.
• 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation experience (required).
• Previous supervisory experience within a Therapy Department (required).
• Proven track record of leading and improving clinical quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in rehabilitation medicine.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to rehabilitation services.
