Job Title

Hospital Service Technician I

Location

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Inc., New Brunswick, New Jersey

Shift

Monday–Friday + rotating weekends, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary

$18.65 per hour plus full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in patient‑ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
• Communicate confidently with clinical staff on equipment features, functionality, and related topics.
• Provide quality service, perform to quality standards, and meet customer and company metrics.
• Pick up, clean, and process all equipment, preparing it for patient‑ready use following all company and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required; prior work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off‑hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Capability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
