Elmhurst Hospital Center, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, is seeking staff to support food service, housekeeping and grounds operations. Under supervision, you will perform routine tasks and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment across areas including kitchen, dining rooms, and public spaces.

Responsibilities include setting up meal service stations, assembling patient trays, delivering meals, cleaning and sanitizing areas, and assisting with general grounds maintenance.

Formación

• Must be able to read and write English and understand and follow simple instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Set up meal service stations and check cleanliness before serving.
• Assemble patient trays and deliver meals to patients.
• Assist in food preparation and reheat hot foods as needed.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain patient areas.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and stock handling.
