GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer who can read environments, anticipate risk, and act decisively. The role involves patrolling varied sites such as retail, airports, and detention centers, with a strong emphasis on situational awareness and rapid response.

The position includes a guaranteed 42-hour week on a set schedule in Avondale, AZ, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Uniforms are provided, and growth opportunities exist within GardaWorld.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 21 years or older
• Armed Guard Card or equivalent.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required or ability to provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule: Wed 11pm- 5am Thu- Sat 5pm-5am (42 hours per week)

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• 21 years or older
• Armed Guard Card
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• You have a state license if required
