Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, military or related field.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Environment of Care standards preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.

• Ability to handle crisis situations with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive environment with quality customer service.
• Responds to Emergency Codes and assists with drills.
• Uses security technology to control access and monitor the facility.
• Screens visitors, patients and belongings.
• Conducts patrols and escorts staff and visitors.
• Investigates incidents and documents reports promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
