Job summary

North Vista Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a security officer for evening shifts at our North Las Vegas campus. As a valued member of our safety team, you will perform electronic surveillance, respond to incidents, enforce policies, and coordinate with the Environment of Care committee to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Candidates should have healthcare security experience or related field, a high school diploma, and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• State Driver’s license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance and rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforces policy and procedure to ensure a safe workplace.
• Works with Environment of Care committee for a multi-disciplinary safety approach.
• Driving as needed for company business.
