The Security Officer at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare patrols the hospital and grounds to keep Associates, patients and visitors safe. They model MLH values and provide a calm, courteous presence on campus.

Responsibilities include patrolling, handling mobile duties such as van or shuttle, preparing incident reports, maintaining property, and coordinating with staff. A high school diploma is required; security or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required - High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred - Security or law enforcement 1-3 years
• Required licenses: Class D Driver License (Tennessee); Security Guard - Unarmed (Tennesee Department of Commerce and Insurance)

Responsabilités

• Patrols hospital, parking and/or assigned area to ensure safety and security for Associates, patients and visitors.
• Assumes mobile responsibilities, i.e., van, shuttle.
• Provides customer service and performs general duties.
• Uses proper communication skills for radio and telephone.
• Prepares daily activity reports, Incident Reports, Offense Reports, Fire Reports, etc.
