Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer for full-time hospital campus patrol. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, assist patients and staff, and deter incidents with a professional presence.

Strong communication and customer service are essential. Minimums include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, a background check, and drug screening; CPR/First Aid and license/badges are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
