Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital setting in Coconut Grove, FL. The role involves unarmed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and report writing.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in security or customer service, a valid D license (if driving) and the ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Shifts: Sat-Wed 2PM–10PM. Pay is $18.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years in customer service or protective services is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older where required by state law.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restrain individuals as necessary per guidelines.
• Transport patients to the morgue when needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and natural disasters.
• Alert authorities by sounding alarms or calling police/fire department when required.
• Monitor entrances/exits to ensure only authorized persons enter.
• Maintain logs and write reports on incidents and activities.
