Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Security Officer to patrol assigned areas, enforce life safety standards, and respond to emergencies. You will investigate hazards, monitor access control and CCTV, and support patient and staff safety while upholding hospital policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ year related experience, and a valid driver's license; CPR/BLS preferred. The role is day-shift with weekend obligations at our Tavarest campus, located at 1000 Waterman Way,

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ years related experience required.
• Driver's License required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and enforces life safety standards.
• Investigates hazards and responds to emergencies and alarms.
• Monitors access control, CCTV, and reports incidents.
• Intervenes in incidents using de-escalation and safety procedures.
