Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in security or security-related fields and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital property to ensure safety for patients, visitors and staff.
• Respond to security alerts, fires, and disasters.
• Investigate security-related incidents and document findings.
• Maintain daily activity reports and logs.
• Lock/unlock buildings around the campus.
• Be part of fire and disaster response teams.
• Enforce hospital parking policy.
• Interact professionally with customers and staff at all times.
• Respond to agitation or violent behavior with de-escalation and/or restraint as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
