Reporting to senior leadership in Finance with a collaborative, dotted-line relationship to the Chief Compliance and Chief Quality Officers, the Hospital Risk Management Director will shape strategy while receiving strong support from experienced quality analysts, legal and insurance partners, education teams, and informatics specialists; on a daily basis the Hospital Risk Management Director will lead event review and root cause analyses, manage claims and risk financing, refine policies, guide preparation for regulatory surveys, mentor leaders on Just Culture, and champion high reliability, all while teaming with friendly nurses, skilled physicians, and a diverse, interprofessional care team dedicated to safe, equitable, and compassionate care.
