Job summary

Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital in Wichita, KS is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee all aspects of billing and collections, ensure accuracy of accounts receivable, and lead a team of billing professionals. The role offers an on-site, full-time opportunity with a $5k sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

The position requires knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, hospital billing experience, and 2–5 years of management experience within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; medical terminology preferred.
• 2–5 years of management experience in a hospital billing environment (Medicare/Medicaid, Blue Cross, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and coordinate Revenue Cycle functions to meet standards and accrediting requirements.
• Supervise Revenue Cycle activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate schedules, tasks, and allocation of hours to meet department commitments.
• Conduct meetings to communicate policies and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
• Provide education and in-service training to improve efficiency and operations.
• Assist in resolving patient billing questions and issues.
• Support accounts receivable activities as needed; review write-offs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Develop relationships with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Prepare reports and analyses for leadership.
