Capital Health System, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist responsible for all aspects of claim submission for services rendered across the Capital Health network.

You will perform pre/post claim review, handle 277 rejections, denials, and resubmissions, and pursue timely professional payments from third-party payers. The role requires at least a high school diploma with one year of healthcare billing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare billing experience in a hospital, professional, or medical office setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel; EMR software experience (Cerner, Athena, Epic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all aspects of claim submission for services rendered to payers.
• Follow up on pre/post submission, 277 rejections, denials, and resubmissions.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and patient account follow-up across the Revenue Cycle lifecycle.
• Maintain knowledge of payer requirements and communicate issues for resolution.
• Document activity clearly in the billing system and coordinate with payer representatives.
