Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of related experience as a commercial carpenter, with the ability to work independently within a team environment and to complete projects on time.

• 4+ years of related experience as a commercial carpenter
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Ability to complete construction projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Able to work independently in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks related to the carpentry trade
• Ensure compliance with the hospital’s fire and safety codes before, during, and after each work project
• Installs commercial door frames and door hardware
• Install suspended and hard ceilings
• Assist cabinet maker with manufacturing and installation of millwork and solid surface countertops
• Perform general contract labor work
• All other related assigned duties
