Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech/Rad Tech) for a 13-week contract in Scranton, PA. You will support image-guided procedures in a hospital-based IR lab, collaborating with radiologists and the health care team. Requires ARRT and BLS, PA license, 1 year radiology experience, IR experience, and ability to scrub procedures.

Schedule is four 10-hour shifts, with rotating call and holiday coverage. Start date November 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of radiologic technology experience.
• Previous interventional radiology experience required.
• Experience scrubbing interventional radiology procedures with providers.
• ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active professional license in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work scheduled call, weekend, and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Support interventional radiology procedures in a hospital-based radiology lab.
• Scrub procedures and assist radiologists and other providers during image-guided interventions.
• Prepare procedure rooms, imaging equipment, and supplies per standards.
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow department/regulatory requirements.
• Provide call coverage for scheduled weekday, weekend, and holiday needs.

Interventional Radiology Technologist Requirements
