Qualifications

• Must hold a valid C1 driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Move expensive, specialist medical equipment within the hospital.
• Transport medical supplies including oxygen cylinders.
• Collect blood samples and medical specimens and take to laboratories.
• Transport clinical waste and hazardous materials.
• Move patients' bodies to mortuary.
• Deliver meals and remove crockery.
• Deliver post and supplies to wards.
• Dispose of household, confidential and clinical waste per policy.
• Maintain and clean equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Assist with patient transfer and notes transportation.
