Job summary

Community Hospital in Oklahoma City seeks a Full Time Plant Operations Supervisor to lead daily plant operations and maintenance, ensuring a safe and compliant hospital environment. You will guide maintenance staff, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with leadership, clinical operations, and vendors.

The role emphasizes regulatory readiness, preventive maintenance, and effective communication to uphold the hospital’s infrastructure and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical trade school or certifications preferred.
• 5+ years healthcare maintenance or plant operations experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hospital building systems and regulatory standards.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or stationary engineer license (preferred).
• Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM) preferred but not required.
• DNV / CMS Conditions of Participation knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily plant maintenance and operation activities.
• Supervises facilities staff and provides direction and training.
• Ensures regulatory readiness and safety program compliance.
• Oversees preventive maintenance and manages CMMS workflow.
• Monitors energy usage, budget inputs, and supplier coordination.
• Acts as on-site liaison and coordinates with leadership and clinical ops.
