Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist for a full-time, Day Flex schedule with weekend and holiday coverage. You will rotate through Medical/Surgical, Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurology, Inpatient Spine and Inpatient/Outpatient programs, starting 8:30 am–4:30 pm with future rotations including Tue-Sat, Sun-Thu or Mon-Fri shifts.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, current NYS PT licensure, and CPR/BCLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current NYS Physical Therapy license is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through acute care units, fast track, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Provide high-quality physical therapy to all patients in collaboration with the team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and treatment planning.
