Qualifications

• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Sterile and non-sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Must meet and maintain current all unit specific and organizational skills/competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy managers in designing, coordinating, and implementing pharmacy technician services.
• Adhere to all policies regarding sterile compounding practice.
• Inspect assigned areas for proper storage and labeling of medications.

Skills

Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

Ability to handle difficult situations with critical thinking

Knowledge of automated dispensing/storage technology

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Florida Registered Certified Pharmacy Technician license
