Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Fresno, CA, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital drug distribution system under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. You will fill physician orders, prepare medications including IV admixtures, and help maintain inventory and patient records.

The role requires a high school diploma, an active California Pharmacy Technician license, and a valid driver's license for multi-site deliveries. Six months hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of employment.
• Valid driver's license required for delivery to sites where applicable.
• Six (6) months experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, fills physician orders by preparing and distributing medications, including intravenous admixtures and extemporaneous preparations.
• Maintains the drug inventory and confidential patient records.
• May participate in the Antibiotic Stewardship Program with a focus on patient safety and public health.
