Job summary

Abrazo West Campus Hospital in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in training to assist in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You will fill and label medications, stock inventory, restock ADCs, deliver meds to patient areas, and support QA activities while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED or equivalent training.
• Licensure: Licensed in Arizona as a Pharmacy Technician in training.
• Experience: Completion or current student of a certified pharmacy technician program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill and label medications accurately in a timely manner.
• Stock medications in pharmacy inventory and restock ADCs.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and handle medication requests.
• Assist in quality assurance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to workflow, document deviations, and report variances to supervisors.
• Support pharmacists and supervisors in assigned duties.
