Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Independently prepares medication for dispensing and patient administration in accordance with hospital policy.
• Assists with safety and quality improvement projects for the department including accreditation.
• Interacts with patients, families, providers, and staff including benefit investigation and insurance coordination.
• Maintains inventory, procedures for outdated medications, cycle counts and medication transfers.
