Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Ventura, CA seeks Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with 1+ year of experience to join a county hospital setting. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will prepare and dispense medications, assist with inventory, and ensure safety standards. Immediate start for a 13-week contract or longer. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour with healthcare benefits, housing, and meals. Applicants meeting qualifications will be considered.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with a current licensure and CPhT certification.
• Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist pharmacists in managing inventory and maintaining medication storage areas.
• Review and process prescription orders ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients and healthcare staff with medication-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations.
