Job summary

Altru Hospital in Devils Lake, ND is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to coordinate and replenish narcotic and non-narcotic medications across the health system. The role provides IV preparation, prepares, dispenses and inventories medications, and maintains proper documentation and compliance.

  • Pharmacy Tech requires ND Board of Pharmacy certification before start.
  • PTCB certification is preferred.
  • Must read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate automated dispensing systems and cart fill for medication availability.
  • Manage inventory and address controlled substance discrepancies and waste.
  • Perform sterile/non-sterile compounding and Tech-Check-Tech per ND Board rules.
  • Maintain records per state/federal regulations and internal policies.
  • Support other pharmacy operations as needed.

Everything we do is underscored by a why — and that why is one another.Location:Altru Hospital | Devils Lake,1031 7th Street Northeast,Devils Lake, ND 58301Pay Range: $18.82 - $28.23Summary:The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician is responsible for coordinating and replenishing narcotic and non-narcotic medication distribution throughout the health system to provide patient medications in a safe, accessible and timely manner.
