Job summary

This role operates mainly in the Emergency Department under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The position is full-time with rotating evening shifts (11am–9:30pm or 12pm–10:30pm) and 40 hours per week, offering premium pay and a pathway for

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Must obtain CPhT within 90 days of hire or have PTCB/ExCPT certification pending.

Responsibilities

  • Collect Home Medication History from patients admitted to the hospital.
  • Interview patients, contact pharmacies, and document information accurately.
  • Work primarily in the Emergency Department under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
