Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a licensed hospital pharmacist to lead daily operations in our acute care setting. You will supervise pharmacy staff, ensure safe medication delivery, and collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements include Pharmacy degree, Texas pharmacist license, and 2 years hospital pharmacy experience; 3–5 years in healthcare preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Certified as a pharmacist preceptor by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• 2 years hospital pharmacy experience desired.
• 3–5 years in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

• Oversee drug inventory control and ensure proper handling and security of medications
• Establish controls, tracking, and auditing of narcotics
