Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week Pharmacy position in a hospital setting. The role requires recent hospital pharmacy experience, a valid license, and BLS certification.

The pharmacist will work 7:30 to 16:30, with an 8-hour shift, and collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy on regulatory and quality matters. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, participating in performance-improvement initiatives, and supervising pharmacy personnel while ensuring patient safety

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
• Must hold a valid pharmacy license.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Must-have: knowledge of patient population served; experience with pharmacokinetics dosing service.

Responsibilities

• Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies from physicians' prescriptions.
• Participates in performance improvement plans within the organization.
• Consults with administration, medical staff, and hospital staff on quality, regulatory, and risk issues.
• Supervises technical support staff and directs activities of pharmacy personnel.
• Maintains logs for IV refrigerator temperature and hood cleaning, and ensures accuracy of technician-prepared products.
