Penn Medicine is seeking a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care at Doylestown Hospital. You will verify, compound and dispense medications, monitor drug therapy and intervene to ensure safe, rational and cost-effective use of drugs.

The role involves collaboration with physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in a patient-centered environment. Qualifications include PA licensure and a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science is required.
• Graduate of an Accredited College of Pharmacy with BS or PharmD; hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispenses medications per physician orders.
• Reviews and interprets orders; screens for drug interactions.
• Maintains accurate documentation and proper labeling.
• Collaborates with nursing staff, prescribers and the care team to optimize patient care.
