Job summary

Essentia Virginia Hospital offers a part-time food service role in the Nutrition Services department. You will assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to patients and customers, stock and monitor inventory, and ensure clean, organized service areas.

Daily duties include customer interaction and cash handling at point-of-sale areas. The position may offer a remote/hybrid option and involves Day/Eve rotations with holidays and weekends as applicable.

Qualifications

• Assists in providing high quality and nutritious foods to patients and customers.
• May include food service, food preparation, inventory monitoring, dishwashing, cleaning, and stocking food service areas.
• Performs tasks related to setup and service in the patient service area, including interacting with customers and cash handling.
