RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Materials Handler to support the Distribution department at the New Brunswick facility. The role involves receiving, storing, and delivering medical supplies across acute care operations, ensuring departments have necessary goods for patient care.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with hospital supply chain experience preferred; schedule is days, full-time, with rotating holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of stock management and operations.
• Ability to use latest technology to perform job responsibilities.
• Professional communication, written and verbal, in dealing with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments.
• Manage inventory levels and restock supply rooms, carts, and stations.
• Use FIFO to stock and rotate items.
• Maintain infection control and hospital procedures.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.
