Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport seeks a Distribution Specialist to receive, order and deliver supplies across hospital departments and nursing units. The role supports Central Storeroom inventory and supplies coordination.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, de-escalation training by orientation end, and 1+ year hospital storeroom plus computer experience. This full-time on-site position reports to Materials Management.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of orientation (90 days).
• One year hospital storeroom experience is preferred.
• One year of computer operation experience is preferred.
• Must be able to use computer technology to order, issue, deliver and maintain materials used in the Central Storeroom and nursing units.

Responsibilities

• Receives, orders and delivers supplies throughout all hospital departments and nursing units.
• Assists in maintaining inventory for Central Storeroom.
