Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our hospital facilities team in Williamsburg, VA. The role focuses on maintaining safety and comfort through routine and preventive maintenance of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems, with on-call availability and collaboration with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in maintenance or facility operations.
• Knowledge of standard maintenance practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily routine maintenance and repair on facilities and equipment including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical systems.
• Maintains general plant and facilities in good repair to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
• Completes work orders and hazard reports promptly; reports malfunctions or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Inspects and maintains emergency power equipment, fire alarm system, lighting, extinguishers, and safety devices.
• Assists with grounds, parking, lawn care, landscaping and coordination with external contractors as needed.
• On-call and weekend availability; assists with patient transports as requested.
