Job summary

Jackson Purchase Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Maintenance Worker to help sustain hospital facilities, HVAC, and grounds in a safe, operative condition. You will receive daily guidance from the Director of Plant Operations and may share on-call duties.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of hospital maintenance experience. English communication skills and basic computer knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience with maintenance, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assists in assigned activities of plant operation functions to maintain hospital facilities and grounds in safe, operative condition.
• Supports maintenance programs and CQI activities; performs general maintenance and repairs.
• Reports progress to the Director of Plant Operations and participates in on-call duties as needed.
