Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to manage preventive and corrective maintenance for the WRNMMC O&M program. You will convert approved work requirements into executable plans and resource-loaded schedules that minimize delays and protect hospital operations.

This role collaborates with supervisors, technicians, procurement, subcontractors, and government representatives to align PM cycles, track progress, and document outcomes while adhering to DoD and infection-control requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of planning and/or scheduling experience related to facility operations and maintenance.
• Ability to identify, assess, and plan work to eliminate execution delays and to publish schedules that optimize resources within operational constraints.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, work control, backlog management, resource loading, job estimating, parts/material coordination, and maintenance closeout.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). DMLSS‑FM / LogiCole experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, drawings, specifications, codes, and regulatory maintenance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, analytical, and customer‑service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and scheduling/reporting tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access, credentials, training, and background eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete job plans for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Identify and resolve foreseeable work constraints before scheduling.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the DHA DSS to obtain PM schedules and deliver to the COR.
• Verify monthly PM schedules include required details.
• Build and maintain the annual PM schedule and ensure proper sequencing of PMs and inspections.
• Review recommendations for PM task changes and seek COR approval.
• Assign work to appropriately skilled personnel and optimize labor resources.
• Coordinate parts, materials, and subcontractor support to ensure readiness.
• Plan work around restricted clinical spaces, infection-control requirements, and after-hours maintenance.
• Monitor schedule execution and backlog, elevating risks as needed.
• Review work packages for complete documentation before closeout.
• Support meetings and management briefings with schedule status and forecasts.
• Maintain planning records, dashboards, and auditable files; identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform other planning, scheduling, and work-control duties to support hospital operations.
