Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport soiled linens from patient care units and designated areas following infection control procedures.
• Sort, load, and process linens through washing, drying, and finishing equipment to ensure cleanliness and quality.
• Deliver clean linens to units, stock storage areas, and rotate inventory to maintain appropriate levels.
• Inspect linens for damage or contamination and remove items from circulation per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of laundry equipment and work areas, report safety concerns promptly.
• Document linen quantities, deliveries, and usage to support inventory control.
