Responsibilities

• Collects soiled laundry from hospital areas and delivers to soiled linen rooms.
• Answers telephone, takes messages and linen orders.
• Examines articles for stains or tears.
• Counts and stacks linens for distribution; reports shortages.
• Delivers linens to user departments and distributes emergency supplies.
• Prepares supply packs and moves linen stacks for distribution.
• Cleans equipment and work area; reports faulty equipment.
• Enters daily data in Linen Helper program.
