Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker at PHOENIX CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL in Phoenix. This full-time on-site role supports kitchen and facility operations by cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing food production areas, utensils, and equipment.

Shifts include mornings and afternoons with some weekends/holidays, and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities include dishwashing, surface sanitation, floor care, trash removal, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Walk or stand for extended periods of time, may exceed 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time and with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned.
