Job summary

UCI Health in Orange is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform meal assembly, service and delivery, dishwashing, sanitation and safety within the kitchen, cafeteria, and patient services.

Reporting to the Food Services Manager, the role requires flexible shifts, the ability to read and follow instructions in English, and knowledge of kitchen sanitation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Preferred knowledge of kitchen sanitary control techniques.
• Preferred experience in a kitchen/dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meals and assist with service and delivery to patients.
• Perform dishwashing, cleaning and sanitation to maintain food service areas.
• Support patient services and collaborate with the Food Services team.
