Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate cook to join the hospital culinary team at Swain County Hospital. You will prepare meals for patients, visitors, and staff under the guidance of the chef/production manager, following company recipes and safety guidelines.

Part-time positions are available with day, evening, and night shifts. Applicants must have at least 2 years in a commercial kitchen, be 18+, and pass background checks and screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and assist team as needed.
