Job summary

HHS in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a hospital culinary team member to prepare meals for patients, visitors and staff at Dignity East Valley Rehabilitation Center. You will follow recipes, maintain safety and sanitation, and support the team to deliver quality food service across patient care areas.

We offer day, evening and night shifts, with full-time and part-time opportunities. The position pays $20/hour and requires at least 2 years of kitchen experience, 18+ years old, and good English

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: culinary experience across various healthcare/foodservice settings.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
