Job summary

Canon is seeking an Inventory Technician in Chicago, IL to process requests, pull stock, and deliver items to ordering departments. The role involves receiving and delivering special orders and working with supervisors and staff to resolve issues.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, familiarity with Lawson or similar systems, and strong communication and organizational skills. Training will be provided, with opportunities to assist senior technicians and grow within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• One year in hospital materials distribution, inventory management or logistics preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lawson (or similar supply chain management systems) required.
• Must be a “critical thinker” with ability to adapt to changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and maintain strong organizational skills.
• Maintain friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Process requests, pull stock items, and deliver to ordering departments.
• Receive and deliver special orders to appropriate departments.
• Assist Level II techs and managers as assigned.
• Report issues to Customer Service and managers.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clear and organized manner.
• Provide training to new Inventory Technicians as assigned.
