Medxcel in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Facilities HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration and ice‑making systems at St. Vincent's Hospital.

You will apply specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat, energy management, and respond to after‑hours emergencies. This day‑shift, full‑time role offers growth opportunities and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of trade school.
• EPA License (Level I).
• 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice‑making systems.
• Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after‑hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and follows safety protocols with PPE.
• Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, keeps tools and vehicles in safe condition.
• Dedicates 20% of the role to meetings, training, and assisting with special projects.
