Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso is seeking a Housekeeping Technician to perform cleaning and maintenance across patient rooms, discharge areas, offices, and public spaces. You will follow required cleaning processes to provide high-quality service to patients and visitors, sanitize areas, and restock supplies to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital cleaning experience – preferred.
• Ability to communicate with hospital team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, discharge rooms, offices, non-patient rooms, bathrooms and public areas.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas using required procedures.
• Restock supplies in restrooms, patient rooms, cleaning carts and supply closets.
• Respond to special clean up requests and accidental spills.
• Clean rooms within requested timelines as patients are discharged.
• Set up, operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Set up auditoriums and rooms, move furniture, supplies and equipment.
• Communicate with hospital team members and supervisors.
