Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician/Environmental Services role in Harrisburg. You will clean public and patient care areas, service equipment, and handle linen distribution as part of maintaining a sanitary hospital environment.

As a lead, you may back up the Environmental Services Manager, round on assigned areas, train employees, and prepare daily assignments to ensure smooth operations and high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public and/or patient care areas.
• Cleans equipment and reports repairs.
• Collects and distributes soiled or clean linen
• Lead: Serves as back up for Environmental Services Manager or Supervisor.
• Lead: Round on assigned areas.
• Lead: Instruct and train employees.
• Lead: Prepare daily assignments.
• Lead: Performs environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.

Education
