Job summary

Vanguard Resources, Inc. is hiring a Hospital Housekeeping/EVS Technician for the Miami County Medical Center in Paola, Kansas. This full-time 2nd shift position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour and requires no prior hospital or housekeeping experience, as training is provided.

You will maintain a clean, sanitary environment, follow infection-prevention procedures, and support a welcoming atmosphere for patients, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and discharged rooms.

• Using cleaning products, equipment, and PPE safely.
• Responding to housekeeping needs throughout the facility as assigned.

Shift:

2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Schedule:

Either Sunday through Thursday OR Tuesday through Saturday

Starting Pay:

$18.00 per hour (starting wage)

• Following established hospital cleaning and infection-prevention procedures
• Using cleaning products, equipment, and personal protective equipment safely
• Responding to housekeeping needs throughout the facility as assigned
• Helping maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff - Because this is a healthcare environment, team members must be flexible and willing to assist with any housekeeping task needed during their shift.
