Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Magnolia is seeking a Housekeeper to clean and sanitize patient rooms and baths to prevent infections, and to maintain a neat and sanitary facility. You will also clean offices and common areas and assist in coordinating safe patient transport as needed, under compliance with JCAHO, Federal, and State regulations.

Requirements include a High School Graduate education, a current motor vehicle license with a clean MVR, and 1–3 years of hospital or nursing home

Qualifications

• High School Graduate is required.
• Experience in hospital or nursing home housekeeping preferred.
• Must have clean MVR and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and baths to prevent infections and cross contamination.
• Clean offices and common areas according to procedures.
• Coordinate safe transportation of hospitalized patients to and from residences/appointments.
