Job summary

Unity Health in Arkansas is seeking a Hospital Environmental Services associate to perform indirect patient care by cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining floors to keep the facility sanitary and safe for patients, associates, and guests.

The role follows infection control policies, removes trash and biohazardous waste, and maintains equipment in good condition. This is a first shift position, 6:00am to 2:30pm, 40 hours per week with a bi-weekly weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must read and write.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Physical stamina to sit, walk, bend, push carts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety sensitive: YES

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect to maintain sanitary, safe floors for patients, associates and guests.
• Follow infection control, housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Remove trash/biohazardous waste from all areas per policies.
• Maintain equipment and request supplies as needed.
